- The check boxes relate to the downs.
- The down-distance dropdown list box allows you to
place the distance to the next 1st down.
- Yardline
- The Yardline dropdown list box allows you to select the yardline the ball is on. Please note that with the Offense version, the yardline will normally start out on negative numbers NOT positive. For example, 1st down and 10 on the -20 yardline...NOT 20 yardline.
- Strength
- The check boxes relate to the side of the strength.
- HashMark
- The check boxes relate to the side of
the field (left-right-middle) the ball is on.
- The next section pertains to the Play Action.
- The check boxes dictate whether the play
is a "run" or a "pass".
- The dropdown list box allows you to
select a Play Action.
- Once you type in a play for the
first time, you will need to add that play to the data file
so you can select it for another record.
The play is added by clicking on
the "add image".
- The "Run" section is only enabled if the play is a run.
Click on the run hole that pertains to the play.
- The "Pass Route" section is only enabled if the play is a pass.
Click on the pass zone that pertains to the play.
- The pictorial command button will display
a picture of the zones.
- The dropdown list box allows you to

so you can select it for another record.
The pass route is added by clicking on

yardage information. Select the amount of yards gained
during the play.

ther record.
- The key player is added by clicking on
the "add image".
To move around within the plays, you can do so by selecting the appropriate arrow. Again, by selecting one of these navigational arrows, the database will save all data.

Receiving Errors?
- Run-Time Error 3078: BlisScout attempted to run a report, but was unable to find a required data field in the database. This error will occur when a new version of BlisScout is being used to generate a report from a database that was created under an older version of BlisScout. This will only occur when the data structure of the database is changed during a revision--this will not happen often.
- Error when trying to create a team. BlisScout attempts to create a folder within the BlisScout folder. Unless you have rights to create folders, you will not be able to do so. Contact your system administrator and request the following: 1. Create a user group called coaches. 2. Add all the coaches who will be using BlisScout to this new user group. 3. Apply this new user group to the folder called BlisScout; which is under the "Program Files" folder (i.e., c:\Program Files\BlisScout). 4. Allow read/write access for the new user group to all folders under the BlisScout folder.
- Printing Error. If you receive a shared file error or permission denied, you may have an old version of BlisScout. Download the latest exe file from our website. Till then, you can select the report from the reports menu to print - right mouse click on the reports window - select the print option.
If you receive an error that is not listed here, please contact us at www.mmbsports.com and provide a description of the error. Thank You.
